Meet a Few of our Girls

When you own llamas you know that each one has its own individual personality

Satin Lace

October 22 2004

Bolivian Razzel Dazzel

X

L&B Lil Gem (ILR# 259621)

Satin Lace is queen of the herd; any challenges to her position are usually short-lived. She has the regal posture and sureness of movement that goes with any strong leader. Her fiber is so soft and curly it is almost suri, and the appaloosa coloring makes her a ‘stand–out’ in the field. Despite her ‘position’ she is very gentle in nature. Satin Lace gifted us with a beautiful baby boy in 2009 (Patch), check him out on our 'for sale' page.

WCR This Kiss

Peruvian Kiss This

X

Miss Whyte Dyamonds

This Kiss is our little ‘hippy’ girl, just as gentle and easy-going as any llama could be. Our flower child lives up to her name and is the first to give kisses and hugs out in the pasture. Coming from fantastic suri stock out of Alberta Canada and standing 37 inches fully grown, we are hoping that This Kiss will pass on her suri looks and correctness to her crias.

Cupcake

April 10 2005

Bolivian Razzel Dazzel

X

ROR Sugan Bun (ILR# 262456)

We like to think of Cupcake as the herd's intellectual; she seems to think things through before committing to them regardless of what the rest of the girls are doing. Although she has become one of our most gentle and loving girls, she was with us for six months before she’d take food from our hands. Now she has decided that although we may not be her intellectual equals, we do warrant some trust and respect! You can see her first cria (Josie) on our 'for sale' page.

Pristina

August 29 2004

Bolivian Razzel Dazzel

X

Chile-Bol Onyx Marbled Princess (ILR# 259618)

Pristina is another of our Razzel girls and is also very well connected on her dam's side being a grand-daughter of the renowned mini producer Bolivian Hot-shot. She always seems to be operating ‘within’ herself with strong legs, flat back and a way of floating when she walks. Pristina gave birth to the most beautiful appaloosa girl in November 2008. We called her Tina, she gets her appy from grandpa (Razzel Dazzel), and her black & white from mom - Big Poppa just gave her strong bone and a high tailset - basically we're excited !!! ... Tina is the perfect package, check her out on the Sold Llama page.

Miss Merry Mac

November 19 2004

Excellente' of Bolivia

X

LW Miss Oregon (ILR# 257819)

Miss Merry Mac is our class clown: if there’s something to get into, then she’ll be the first to do it! She has a wonderful, playful, outgoing personality; the farm we purchased her from used her as their "Public Relations" llama. Merry's granddaddy was the Lion of Bolivia – a magnificent animal – and her dad has sired a number of outstanding miniature llamas. Sadly, Merry had a lot of difficulty giving birth so we don't breed her anymore but she's such a pleasure to have around that she has the honor of being our own 'non-breeder'.

Poppy

November 8th 2008

Big Poppa

X

Spectrum's Zoey

Poppy is the first owned and bred female we've kept in the herd for our breeding program. We really like her compactness and her gentle nature. She's pictured here with Joyce just before going into the show ring in 2009 (where she was beaten out by her half-sister, Tina--see her on the Sold Llama page). Poppy is getting nicer with age, we've learned that her dam's line puts on leg bone as they grow and she is really shaping up to be a very special miniature llama indeed. We'll show her again in 2010 and 2011 because we don't breed our girls till they are three years old (we think it's important to let them fully mature before putting their bodies through the stress of pregnancy. Poppy is a good example of what we are striving for in our herd.
