|---|
Frankly we love all our minis and would be happy never to part with even one of them! Of course this isn't practical; we have a serious breeding program and we've invested a lot of time and money to purchase the best miniature llama breeding stock we could. In order to achieve our objective of breeding a better mini we have to sell some animals because of space constraints. We're a small farm and only breed five or at the most six cria each year. We care about the folk who buy our llamas and will always be available to support you or answer questions about how best to look after your minis. This year, for the first time, we're offering some of or original herd for sale. Some of these girls carry very valuable genes. So, if you're thinking of starting a small herd, this is a great way to do it. Others, for one reason or another, we wouldn't recommend as breeders and so they are 'pet' priced. Take a look and if you have questions, email or call. |

Miss Sara (female)June 4th 2005Bolivian Razzel Dazzel X L&B Mona Lisa Miss Sara is one of our original girls. As you can see, she's an appaloosa, just like her famous sire (Razzel Dazzel is now deceased, so these genes are rare). Sara is gentle, smart (well they all are) and she loves treats. Sara has given us two beautiful cria and they both inherited her laid-back nature. She has tons of milk and is a very caring momma. A terrific addition to a mini herd, or a perfect starter for your new venture. Sara's foundation size - about 39 inches, and fully registered with AMLA. We'll be happy to sell her bred to the amazing Big Poppa (two fer one), or just as she is - your choice.
$1,300or$1,500 bred. |

Freckles (female)September 20th 2009Radical Dreamer X Spectrum's Confetti Freckles (look at her face and you'll see why) is a gentle, calm girl. Always first up for a carrot treat, but not pushy with it. She's out of our suri male - Radical Dreamer, which gives her beautiful, soft, fine fiber if you're into fiber-arts. Her dam's side is a terrific mini line (out of Nordic Sun who is no longer being bred). She's staying small and would make a terrific addition to a new mini herd, or perhaps just a friendly companion animal for a lonely horse, or some goats needing a 'big' sister.

Princess (female)October 20th 2009FGL Bolivian Big Poppa X Spectrum's Zoey We called her princess because she has such a regal look about her. Her dam, Zoey, is probably the best female on the farm (looking with a judges eye that is) - we think so highly of her that we've kept Zoey's first male offspring and we intend to use him as a stud. She's taken on Big Poppa's ginger markings, but boy oh boy has she got her mommas ears - those are some big bananas! Sold

Patch (male)October 30th 2009FGL Bolivian Big Poppa X Satin Lace (appy out of Razzel Dazzel) Patch has striking ginger and white markings. Like his dam, he's a standout in the pasture--he's always 'on'. He's a friendly, confident, personable, cute little lad with excellent bone structure - just look at those front legs. His fiber is silky and drapes him beautifully. He would show well in any halter class (he won grand champion mini male at the 2010 NC Mountain State fair). He's small, as you'd expect with his lineage, and certainly good enough to fulfil the role as a herdsire if you are interested in breeding. He's quick to learn, and calm, so he'd train nicely for performance, or as a therapy animal ,or just as a stunningly beautiful adornment in your pasture. He must go to a home where he'll be with at least one other animal: llama, goat, sheep, horse, alpaca etc. Sold |

Little Benjamin (male)ILR(271726)June 27th 2007RAR Chilean Hotline X Peruvian Ziggy Bennie is the 2nd of our 'Peruvian Maximo' line boys (1/2 brother to Echo - see him on the Male's page). These boys are both very nice, we've shown them together twice and both times the judge has commented on how difficult it was to split them. Bennie is beautifully put together but we can't keep two boys with such similar gene lines. He has been living with a couple of Nigerian dwarf goats for the last few months, he enjoys his role as a guard & companion to them. We would like to place Bennie with a farm as a guard or companion. He is friendly enough to take feed from the hand although he doesn't much like being brushed etc. He is beautiful to watch, very athletic, nicely balanced and compact. Bennie has a beautiful face with fiber-covered banana ears; he's currently almost 38 inches at the withers, we expect he'll grow a little (maybe 38 or 39 inches) but he will be a small guy. We can deliver Bennie if the buyer isn't too far away. Sold |

Samson (male)April 1st 2009FGL Bolivian Big Poppa X Delilah Sampson is as gentle a llama as you'll find. He'll be terrific with kids or as a therapy animal, or just a beautiful exotic pet. He has the mini gene lines and so will end up as a small llama but probably not a small miniature. If you are seeking a friendly, beautiful pet or a guard for your sheep or goats, or companion for a lone horse (or all of the above) this guy will fit the bill. His fiber is a spinner's dream, fine but very dense, and he has a charming face, with long eyelashes and cute black patches on his eyes. He must go to a home where he'll be with at least one other animal: llama, goat, sheep, horse, alpaca etc. Priced to sell!!!! Sold |
