Home The Girls The Boys For Sale About Miniature Llamas The Cria (babies)
Please feel free to contact us with any questions... we love to talk about llamas, in fact we talk about little else these days!! ...........Pete & Joyce

Frankly we love all our minis and would be happy never to part with even one of them! Of course this isn't practical, we have a serious breeding program and we've invested a lot of time and money to purchase the best miniature llama breeding stock we could. In order to achieve our objective of breeding a better mini we will have to sell some animals because of space constraints. We are a small farm and only breed five or at the most six cria each year. We care about the folk who buy our llamas and will always be available to support you or answer questions about how best to look after your minaiture llamas. This year we have four beautiful female cria and one male to sell. Ideally we'd like to place the girls as a group and so you'll see we've put a together a package price. The girls were born in fall 2008 and sired by Big Poppa and they are all superb minis who should bring ribbons for you if you'd like to show them. We show at the NC Mountain State Fair each September and if you buy one or more of our little girls (or Bandit), we'd be delighted to enter you and help you to show your baby in September 2010. It's a lot of fun. We did this last year for one of our customers and their little girl walked away with the grand champion ribbon! One of these babies will probably do the same this year--I have my favorite and Joyce has hers. The winner all depends on what fits the judges eye but I guarantee that they are all top show-quality miniature llamas.

Miss Sara (appy out of Razzel Dazzel)

Bandit (so called because of the cool white mask he has over his eyes) is a cute little guy--friendly and personable. He walks nicely on halter and jumps in and out of a trailer without a problem. His fiber is silky and drapes him beautifully. He will show well in a mini class. He's small, as you'd expect with his lineage, and is certainly good enough to fulfil the role as a mini herdsire if you are interested in breeding. He's quick to learn, and calm, so he'd train nicely for performance, or as a therapy animal ,or just as a stunningly beautiful adornment in your pasture. He must go to a home where he'll be with at least one other animal: llama, goat, sheep, horse, alpaca etc. Bandit is weaned and ready to leave us.

Peruvian Ziggy

To my eye, Hope has the best conformation of the four sisters (Joyce doesn't agree!). Interestingly, she's also got the white blaze across her eybrows (similar to Bandit-pictured above) so that must come from Big Poppa. Ziggy, her dam, is the oldest llama on our farm - she was actually imported from Peru and we really rate her bloodline. Ziggy's had four cria all told and they are all 37 inches or less full-grown. Hope's coloring is a rich dark brownish-red moving towards black along her topline, she has a really cute face and her fiber is silky. Along with her sisters, she'll be halter trained in the spring and ready to leave us in the summer.

Spectrum's Zoey

We called her princess because she has such a regal look about her. Her dam, Zoey, is probably the best female on the farm (looking with a judges eye that is) - we think so highly of her that we've kept Zoey's first male offspring and we intend to use him as a stud. She's taken on Big Poppa's ginger markings but boy oh boy has she got her mommas ears - those are some big bananas! She'll be halter trained in the spring so she'll be ready to leave us in the summer.

Satin Lace (appy out of Razzel Dazzel)

Paisley (she's Joyce's favorite) has striking ginger and white markings. Just like her dam, she's a standout in the pasture--she's always 'on'. Of the three girls listed here she's the most forward in nature - we sold her full sister last year and she was a friendly little thing as well. This girl has excellent bone structure - this picture was taken when she was only 1 month old and look at those front legs already. We'll halter train Paisley in the spring so she'll be ready to leave us in the summer.

Cupcake (out of Razzel Dazzel)

Josies dam - Cupcake is small and compact, this is her first cria and she is just lovely. She's taken on Big Poppa's ginger markings although a paler version, but she has a unique grey face and a cute way of 'talking' when we catch her (she kinda mutters under her breath the whole time we're holding her). We'll halter train Josie in the spring so she'll be ready to leave us in the summer.

Peruvian Ziggy

Bennie is the 2nd of our 'Peruvian Maximo' line boys (1/2 brother to Echo). These boys are both very nice, we've shown them together twice and both times the judge has commented on how difficult it was to split them. Bennie is beautifully put together but we can't keep two boys with such similar gene lines. He has been living with a couple of Nigerian dwarf goats for the last few months, he enjoys his role as a guard & companion to them. We would like to place Bennie with a farm as a guard or companion. He is friendly enough to take feed from the hand although he doesn't much like being brushed etc. He is beautiful to watch, very athletic, nicely balanced and compact. Bennie has a beautiful face with fiber-covered banana ears; he's currently almost 38 inches at the withers, we expect he'll grow a little (maybe 38 or 39 inches) but he will be a small guy. We can deliver Bennie if the buyer isn't too far away.
